HP OfficeJet 8015e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just started a few days ago. Starts printing then stops after 3--5 pages. Just sits there. I cancel print then shut it off and restart and it starts the job all over then again stops. Just now, restarted and ran whole print job.

Drivers corrupted? Reinstall??

Thanks

Robert

If your HP OfficeJet 8015e All-In-One Printer is experiencing issues where it starts printing and then stops after a few pages, the problem could be due to corrupted drivers, connectivity issues, or a problem with the printer firmware. Here’s a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

Step 1: Update Printer Drivers

Download the Latest Drivers:

  • Visit the HP OfficeJet 8015e drivers page.
  • Download the latest full feature software and drivers for your printer.

Uninstall Existing Drivers:

  • Open the Control Panel.
  • Go to Programs > Programs and Features.
  • Find and uninstall any existing HP OfficeJet 8015e printer drivers.

Install the Latest Drivers:

  • Run the driver installer you downloaded from the HP website.Follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
  • Restart your computer after the installation is complete.

Step 2: Check for Firmware Updates

HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store if you don't already have it.Open the app and add your printer if it’s not already added.Check for any available firmware updates and install them.

HP Printer Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Open a web browser and enter the printer's IP address to access the EWS.Go to the Tools or Web Services tab.
  • Check for firmware updates and install any that are available.

Step 3: Check Printer Connection

Ensure Stable Connection:

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. If using a USB connection, try a different USB port or cable.

Restart Printer and Router:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it.Restart your router.Plug in and turn on your printer after a few minutes.

Step 4: Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download the HP Print and Scan Doctor.Run the tool and follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix any issues with your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
