6 months old printer smart tank 675. This error suddenly appeared. Stopped printing. What could be the reason for it?

@Sarah_Peterson, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer error issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Thanks for sharing the image — that display with the two ink droplets usually means your printer’s feeling a bit stuck with the ink system.

Since your Smart Tank 675 is just 6 months old, here’s a quick checklist to get things flowing smoothly again:

🔹 Lift the lid gently and check if the ink tanks are properly filled and the caps are snug.
🔹 Open the printhead area — make sure nothing feels loose or out of place. A soft click when reseating helps!
🔹 Give the printer a breather — turn it off, unplug it for a minute, then power it back on.
🔹 Run a printhead clean via the HP Smart app to help clear any dried ink.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
