Hi @OdedTurbahn,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand how frustrating it can be when your printer isn't printing, especially when other functions like scanning and copying work fine.

To better assist you, could you clarify a few things?

  • Are you receiving any error messages when trying to print?
  • Have you tried printing from different devices or applications?
  • Is the printer showing as "offline" or "paused" in your computer's settings?

Let me know

Dear Elohi,

Thank you for getting back to me.

Yes. I do receive an error message. The printer cannot print simple PDFs, or in the case of Word, the message is error printing. The printer cannot print. even test page, the printer doesn't print.

I tried different applications, and as you suggested, I will try to print from my mobile.

The printer is online and available to print

Thanks

Oded

Hi @OdedTurbahn ,

Since your HP DeskJet 4675 printer is online but unable to print PDFs, Word documents, or even a test page, here are several troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Restart Printer and Computer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 60 seconds, and then plug it back in.
  • Restart your computer and try printing again.

Try Printing from Mobile Device

Since the printer is online, attempt to print from your phone via the HP Smart app to check if the issue is specific to your computer.

  1. Install the HP Smart app on your phone.
  2. Select your printer and try printing a document or photo.
  3. If it prints successfully, the issue is likely with the computer's settings or drivers.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows)

HP provides an automatic troubleshooting tool to fix common printing issues.

  1. Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP support website:
    HP Print and Scan Doctor
  2. Open the tool and select your printer.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to fix any detected issues.

Check for Print Queue Issues

  1. Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click your HP DeskJet 4675 and select See what’s printing.
  3. Cancel all pending print jobs and restart the printer.

Verify Printer Spooler Service

Ensure the print spooler service is running:

  1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Find Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
  3. Set its startup type to Automatic.

Remove and Reinstall the Printer

If issues persist, reinstalling the printer may help:

On Windows:

  1. Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click the printer, and select Remove device.
  2. Disconnect the printer from the computer.
  3. Download and install the latest drivers from the HP website:
    HP DeskJet 4675 Drivers
  4. Reconnect the printer and follow the installation instructions.

Check for Firmware Updates

Updating the printer firmware can fix known bugs:

  1. Go to HP Support website, enter your printer model, and check for firmware updates.
  2. Install any available updates and restart the printer.

Try a Different Connection Method

  • If you’re using Wi-Fi, try switching to a USB connection to see if printing works.
  • If using USB, try another cable and port.

If nothing else works, perform a factory reset:

  1. On the printer control panel, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
  2. Set up the printer again and check if it prints.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
