HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer

Printer stopped mid-page, the screen went blue with "D80774EC" in white.  It won't respond to anything I do with it.

Hi @JaneLaura,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like your HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-In-One Printer encountered a system error. The blue screen with the alphanumeric code "D80774EC" typically indicates a firmware or hardware issue. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.

Power Cycle:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Reset:

  • Some printers have a reset button or a sequence of button presses to perform a factory reset. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to reset it.

Update Firmware:

  • Visit the HP support website and check for any available firmware updates for your printer model.
  • If an update is available, follow the instructions provided to update the firmware.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions.
  • Remove any stuck paper carefully.

Remember, attempting to fix hardware or firmware issues without proper guidance can potentially cause more problems.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
