Hi @Brigida

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

The purple light on your HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer typically indicates an error or issue with the printer. Here's a quick resolution guide:

1. Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is powered on and there are no paper jams or error messages on the screen.
  • Clear any errors or alerts that may be displayed on the printer's screen.

2. Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Check if the purple light goes away after the restart.

3. Check USB Connection:

  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected between the printer and the computer.
  • Try using a different USB port on your computer.

4. Update Printer Drivers:

  • Go to HP Support and ensure you have the latest drivers for Windows 11.
  • Download and install the latest printer software from the HP Support website. click here

5. Reset Printer:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source for 30 seconds and reconnect it.
  • This may reset internal hardware or connectivity issues.

6. Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Open the HP Smart App on your computer.
  • Check for firmware updates for your printer through the app and apply any available updates.click here

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
