HP Officejet 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer says "There seems to be a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn off printer, then on, if problem persists, contact HP"

I changed the black cartridge and then got this message.  Cartridge is an original HP cartridge recently purchased.  It was a multi pack (black and colour).  I put the colour cartridges from this same box in six days with no problem.

I have turned off printer, unplugged the printer, waited 5 and 10 minutes, turned back on, same problem.  Problem does not go away no matter how many time I turn it off, wait and turn it back on again.

How to do I "CONTACT HP"  to get help.  Can I get help here?

So frustrated in trying to find help.  Can anyone help me with this problem?  Work is at a standstill due to this problem.

@Frustrateddddd, Welcome to HP Support  Community!

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
