Top of prints cut off

OfficeJet 4650
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

My Officejet 4650 started to cut off the top of print jobs. I did a maintenance and realignment. I did the disconnect and reconnect. It's still cutting off the top ½' or so of everything I send from my Mac. It seems to be okay if I put something on the scan deck. what else can I do?

Hi @mwpamela,

 I'd like to help!

To better assist you -

1) Does the copy print out the same way?

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

  1. Load plain white paper in the tray.

  2. Print the report.

    • Printers with a touchscreen or menus: On the printer, open the Settings or Setup menu, touch Tools or Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report or similar.

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.

You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer -  Print Quality Issues

You may refer to - Print Settings Guide (Mac)

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
