Hi @abcd12341285 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 3510 e-All-in-One Printer is no longer communicating with your iPad, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check Wireless Connection HP printer setup (Wi-Fi network)

  • Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network. Both your iPad and the printer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network for wireless printing to work.

2. Restart the Printer and iPad

  • Power cycle the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for 10 seconds, plug it back in, and then turn it on.
  • Restart your iPad: This can help resolve minor issues related to connectivity.

3. Check Printer Status

  • Make sure the printer is not showing any error messages or flashing lights that might indicate a problem.

4. Update HP Printer Software

  • Download and install the latest version of the HP Smart app on your iPad if you haven’t already. The app helps with setup and printing.

5. Reconfigure Wireless Setup

  • If your printer was previously connected to the Wi-Fi network, it might have lost connection. Follow these steps to reconnect:
    • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for a few seconds until the wireless light starts blinking.
    • Use HP Smart on your iPad to help reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.

6. Check AirPrint Compatibility Set up the HP printer with AirPrint in macOS

  • Ensure that your iPad is using AirPrint. Most iOS apps support printing via AirPrint. When trying to print, look for the AirPrint option in the print dialog.

7. Reset the Printer's Wireless Settings

  • If other methods don't work, reset the printer’s wireless settings:
    • Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer at the same time for 5 seconds. The wireless light should blink to indicate the reset.

I hope this helps.
