Hi @jalice,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To set up the "Scan to Email" function on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025, you'll need the PIN, which is often associated with the HP Connected account or can be found in the printer settings. Here are the steps to find or set up the PIN.

Finding the PIN

Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer's touchscreen control panel, navigate to the Settings or Setup menu.
  • Look for Web Services or HP Connected.
  • Select Print Info Sheet or Web Services Summary to print out a page that may include the printer's email address and the PIN.

HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile device.
  • Select your printer and navigate to the Printer Settings.
  • Look for options related to Web Services or Scan to Email to retrieve the PIN.

HP Connected Account:

  • Go to the HP Connected website and log in to your account.
  • Under your printer's settings, you may find the option to set or retrieve the PIN for Scan to Email.

Setting Up "Scan to Email"

If you do not find a PIN or need to set up the Scan to Email function:

Enable Web Services:

  • On the printer's touchscreen control panel, navigate to Settings or Setup.
  • Select Web Services Setup, and follow the prompts to enable Web Services.

Set Up Scan to Email:

  • On the printer's touchscreen, select Scan, then Email.
  • Follow the prompts to set up the email profile, including entering your email address and password.
  • If asked for a PIN during this setup, look for options to create a new one or retrieve an existing one.

Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS):

  • Open a web browser and type your printer’s IP address into the address bar.
  • Log in to the printer's EWS (username and password might be required, often "admin" and the printer's PIN if set).
  • Go to the Scan or Email Setup section and follow the instructions to configure Scan to Email.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
