Hi @sonjanorris,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e All-In-One Printer is unable to print due to account errors, it usually indicates an issue with the printer's connection to your HP account or the Instant Ink service. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Steps to Resolve Account Errors:

Check Internet Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
  • Verify that the internet connection is working by accessing other online services.

Sign In to Your HP Account:

  • Go to the HP Smart website or open the HP Smart app on your device.
  • Sign in to your HP account using your credentials.
  • Check if there are any notifications or alerts related to your printer or account.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure your printer firmware is up to date. You can check for updates via the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app.

Check Instant Ink Account Status:

  • If you are enrolled in the HP Instant Ink program, log in to your Instant Ink account to verify that your subscription is active and there are no issues with billing or account status.

Re-register the Printer:

  • Sometimes, removing and re-registering the printer can resolve account-related errors.
    • In the HP Smart app, go to Settings and remove the printer.
    • Re-add the printer by following the setup instructions.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Kindly find the next set of steps in the next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi @sonjanorris,

Please find the next set of steps below.

Clear Print Queue:

  • On your computer, clear any pending print jobs that might be causing the issue.
  • On Windows, go to Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer, and select See what's printing. Cancel all print jobs.
  • On macOS, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and clear the print queue.

Reset Network Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to Network Settings and select Restore Network Settings.
  • Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Factory Reset:

  • If none of the above steps work, you might need to perform a factory reset on the printer. Be aware that this will remove all settings and configurations.
    • On the printer's control panel, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, contact HP Support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
