Officejet Pro 8600 N911a
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I have had an Officejet Pro 8600 for many years, and it was printing with no issue from wireless or through a USB cable. For some reason, I can no longer print either from wireless or cable. When I try to print, I get an error message: "Printing-filter failed."

The printer works from a PC and from an iPhone.  Also, I am able to scan a document from the same Mac that will not print. I can use the printer utility to see the printer, get information on the ink levels, serial number, etc.

I've tried removing the HP software and reloading twice, but cannot get the printer to print.

I'd apprecaite suggestions. Thank you!
