@GCarlo1000, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

When encountering the 'Unable to register the printer to your account' error on your HP 9015e printer, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Update the HP Smart App:

Prepare the Printer for Setup:

  • Check for and remove any packing materials from inside the printer.
  • Turn off your printer and then back on.

Restore Printer Factory Defaults:

  • Use the HP Smart app or the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS) to restore factory defaults.
  • Click on the image of your printer in the HP Smart app and go to Advanced Settings.
  • On the EWS homepage, navigate to the Settings or System tab, and follow prompts to restore defaults.

Remove and Re-add the Printer in HP Smart:

  • Open the HP Smart app and remove the printer by right-clicking or long-pressing the printer image and selecting Hide Printer or Forget Printer.
  • Click on Add Printer or the plus sign to re-add the printer.

Set Up the Printer:

  • Go through the setup process in the HP Smart app. Make sure the printer is on the same network as your device

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
