Hi @Rayjack2710,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

a "Print Spooler error" on your HP ENVY Inspire 7220e printer, it usually means that the print job queue on your computer is unable to process print commands properly, causing printing to stall or fail completely.

If you are using Windows to connect with the device, please try the steps shared below.

  • Restart your computer and printer: This often clears temporary glitches that might be causing the issue.
  • Check for pending print jobs: Open your printer queue and cancel any stuck or unnecessary print jobs.

Restart the Print Spooler service:

  • Go to your Windows search bar and type "services".
  • Open the Services window, find "Print Spooler", right-click it, and select "Restart".

Clear the print queue:

  • Open the Services window, right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Stop".
  • Navigate to the folder "C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS" and delete all files within it.
  • Go back to the Services window, right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Start".

Update printer driver:

  • Go to your Device Manager, expand "Printers", right-click your HP ENVY Inspire 7220e, and select "Update driver".
  • Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software" and follow the prompts.

Check for network connectivity issues:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to your network properly and that your network is stable.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
