WF7515
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Hello Community,

My problem: my WF7515 has recently become very bad at printing text. I've run the usual checks, and it seems to be a 'soft' issue rather than a hardware problem. For example, printing a page from Word is disastrous  – about one line in 3 is printed correctly – but screenshots print out perfectly.

Tellingly, I recently tried to print out a PDF for a ticket. Everything that was a 'fixed' part of the ticket came out OK. Everything that was a 'personalised' part : the seat number, the date, the price… didn't print out *at all* (on screen it showed in black). When I did a screen capture of the same PDF, it printed out perfectly.

I just updated the driver, to no avail.

This is clearly a tricky one, but I know I'm not alone. Anyone out there with insights or ideas ? (Other than 'clean the heads, realign' etc. - I've done that plenty of times). I would be sincerely grateful.

Nico 'Squidger' Carter
