Warranty expired before purchase

HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5275

I purchased this printer on 20th August 2020 and within a day the error code “ OXB8042326” pops up. None of the solutions listed on the forum works. Then when I check the warranty status, it says expired on 20th July 2020 BEFORE i even purchased the product! What kind of a joke is this by a company such as HP. I am absolutely lost as to how to go about fixing a printer which was purchased just 28 hours ago.

PLEASE HELP!!

@disappointing I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

Please look for a private message requesting additional information.

Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).
