Hi. My warranty has expired & I can only scan & not a? The E code is flashing. Is it because the warranty has expired so the machine is no longer supported. It is only a year old

Hi @Archer10 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting the E code flashing on your HP ENVY 6030e All-In-One Printer likely indicates an error or issue that needs to be addressed.

Here's what you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

  • Check the User Manual: The user manual often contains troubleshooting steps for common issues. Look up the meaning of the E code in the manual and follow any suggested solutions.
  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can resolve temporary issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on again.
  • Update Firmware/Drivers: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually download firmware updates from the HP website. Additionally, make sure your printer drivers are up to date on your computer. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Check for Paper Jams: Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions. Remove any paper that may be stuck and causing the issue.
  • Reset the Printer: If restarting doesn't work, you can try resetting the printer to its factory settings. This can often resolve various issues. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to perform a reset.
