My printer suddenly started showing error lights lately and we cannot use it. My mom uses it all the time for her work that is why we immediately bring it to some technician to see what is wrong with it. The technician opened it to see what is wrong and what he found out is that the problem is the encoder strip. Since he does not have spare encoder strip for the model he gives our printer back to us. *He did not do anything with the printer he only opened it to check what is wrong with it. It is already 2 years since we bought our printer so we thought that it is not under warranty anymore since we know that the warranty only lasts for 1 year. For some reason, I check the status of our printer online then that is the time when I found out that it is still covered under a warranty - extended warranty rather. MY QUESTION IS IF THE SERVICE CENTER WILL VOID OUR WARRANTY DUE TO WHAT I/WE DID?
