Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you are getting an error message on your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

This could be a software update or hardware issue. To isolate that, 

 

We need to perform a semi-full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.

 

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Elohi_NR Thanks for your suggestion on how to reset the printer, but my screen does not show the items that you suggest. Please note it is an Office Jet Pro 8720. Grateful for your future suggestions. The machine will print but it will not copy from the glass. Thanks in anticipation.
