Hi @Sxndf,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the EE Error Code and Blinking Lights on HP Deskjet 2710!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

1. Perform a Printer Reset

Performing a hard reset might resolve temporary hardware faults.

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

2. Check for Paper Jams and Cartridge Issues

Ensure there are no paper jams or cartridge issues, which commonly cause blinking light errors.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer cover and remove any jammed paper.
  • Make sure there’s no debris blocking the paper path.

Check the Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove the ink cartridges and check for any dirt or damage.
  • Reinstall the ink cartridges and ensure they’re properly seated.

3. Update Printer Firmware

Ensure your printer’s firmware is up-to-date as outdated firmware can cause errors.

Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.

4. Check Power Source

Ensure the power source is stable and direct.

  • Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet, avoiding power strips or surge protectors.
  • Ensure the power cord is firmly connected to both the printer and the outlet.

5. Perform a Hard Reset

A hard reset can sometimes clear persistent issues.

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Disconnect all cables (USB, network, etc.).
  • Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable and turn the printer back on.

I hope this helps.
