HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer

Every time I try to print from a website either the first line at the top of the page does not fully print or the bottom line at the bottom of the page does not fully print.

I checked to make sure all updates were loaded and they are.  I also checked the alignment of the heads and ensured the margins were correct.

Documents from a word document did not exhibit the same issue.

Hi @CelticMarine,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like the issue you're experiencing might be related to the way web pages are formatted for printing. Sometimes, web pages have elements that can cause printing problems, such as fixed-position elements or unusual formatting.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Print Preview: Before printing, use the print preview feature in your web browser to see how the page will look when printed. This can help identify any formatting issues that might be causing the problem.
  • Adjust Print Settings: When printing from a web page, try adjusting the print settings to see if it makes a difference. For example, you could try changing the page scaling option or selecting a different paper size.
  • Print as PDF: If adjusting the print settings doesn't help, try printing the web page to a PDF file first, and then print the PDF. This can sometimes bypass formatting issues that occur when printing directly from a web page.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. Sometimes, updating the printer drivers can resolve printing issues.
  • Try a Different Browser: If you're experiencing the problem in a specific web browser, try printing from a different browser to see if the issue persists. Different browsers can sometimes handle printing differently.

By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the printing issue you're experiencing with web pages on your HP Officejet Pro 6968 printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
