Hi @Chels100,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you want to change the default printing behavior on your computer so that documents automatically print without requiring you to manually select the print option each time. Here's how you can do it in different operating systems:
Windows:
- Open Control Panel: Press the Windows key, type "Control Panel", and press Enter.
- Select Devices and Printers: Click on "Devices and Printers".
- Set Default Printer: Right-click on your printer and select "Set as default printer".
- Printer Properties: Right-click on your printer again and select "Printer properties".
- Disable Print Confirmation: Look for an option like "Print immediately" or "Print directly to printer" in the settings. Check this option if available.
- Apply Changes: Click "Apply" or "OK" to save your changes.
macOS:
- Open System Preferences: Click on the Apple menu, select "System Preferences".
- Select Printers & Scanners: Click on "Printers & Scanners".
- Set Default Printer: Select your printer from the list and make sure the "Default printer" option is checked.
- Disable Print Confirmation: Click on your printer in the list, then click on the "Options & Supplies" or "Utility" button. Look for an option like "Print immediately" or "Print directly to printer" and check this option if available.
- Apply Changes: Close the settings window to save your changes.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
