When loaded new ink cartridge i got error B83A4E8 and then it saids to turn off and on printer

HP Recommended
HP 6700 printer

HP 6700 printer.  I replaced black ink cartridge and then it saids the following:   "one or more of the cartridges installed are genuine HP cartridges that have been used previously.  Then is shows the following :  B83A4FE8 and then is instructs to turn off and on the printer.  and it is stuck doing this.  It just flashes with no option to press buttons

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand you are receiving a "B83" error on the printer screen. I understand you are getting this error on the printer screen. 

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
