Why is my M428fdw not flipping over

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

If your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw printer is not performing duplex printing (flipping pages to print on both sides), follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

 

Check Printer Settings:

  • Make sure that the duplex printing option is enabled in the print settings on your computer.
  • Access the settings through your printer driver and ensure that "Print on Both Sides" is selected.

Update Printer Firmware:

Clear Paper Jams:

  • Check for any paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.
  • Open the printer’s paper path cover and inspect the interior for any stuck paper.

Reset Printer Settings:

Driver Reinstallation:

  • Sometimes reinstalling the printer driver can solve duplex printing issues.
  • Uninstall the current driver and download the latest version from the HP website.
