Won't print Cyan

HP Recommended
HP OfficeJet Pro 6978

This morning, I replaced all of my color cartridges on my OfficeJet 6978. Now, it will not print Cyan.

I have tried a hard reset, cleaning the printer head, realigning the printer head, cleaning the connection between the cartridge and the printer, running diagnostic tests. I'm at a loss at what to try next. It worked fine until I replaced the cartridges this morning.

@candc923, @Wamamama Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues, and the issue persists, I'm afraid the printhead has gone bad.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
