HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw

I recently installed a complete set of toner cartridges. I printed a test page and it printed ok except that the entire page is bright yellow. Now every page I try to print either has a section of yellow or the complete page is yellow. I even downloaded a new update of software and drivers from HP, rebooted, installed, and the test page came out completely yellow as before. I tried removing the yellow cartridge, but the printer would not operate without it installed.

Likely a defective yellow cartridge. What happens if you reinstall your old yellow toner?

The "old yellow toner" cartridge is off to the landfill already and not available. That was my first thought, but too late!

I was reading a reply on another thread about the same problem, and someone had suggested cleaning the springs on the HVPS board. What is HVPS board???

HP Recommended

HVPS = High Voltage Power Supply. This is the circuit that provides the high Bias charge the energizes the drum units to attract or repel toner. The contacts themselves are on the left side of the cartridge cavity. Repairatrooper_0-1678228514204.png

Is it possible to access those contacts located to the left of the toner tray, or does it require professional help to remove the tray? Sorry for all the questions, but my eyesight is limited.

If you check you tube you should be able to find a video on how to properly remove the cartridge frame to gain access.
