I just got a Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One and went through the setup process. 

I filled up each ink tank with the supplied bottles and in MyPrinter it shows the Yellow ink tank is totally empty and won't allow me to continue. All of the other inks show 100% full.

 

Any ideas for a solution?

Answering my own inquiry: After working with an online tech (Note: GPT had the right answer but wasn't able to recommend returning the machine for replacement) we finally determined that the Yellow sensor was not working. I returned the machine to Staples and they gave me a new one. I set it up like I did the first one and it works like a dream! Case closed! Phew!
