Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My black cartridge suddenly stopped being recognized by the printer.  I printed something in the morning; but it wasn't working that evening.  I, like so many before me, did everything to try and fix it, but the error message remains.  Please help!!!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting a cartridge error on the printer.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

Are you able to make a copy?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.

I wish you guys would stop telling people to turn off/on the printer as a help solution.  Obviously everyone has already done that, multiple times, which is why they are now going to this forum.  That was a waste of a response from HP.  And to think, I waited 2 days for that?  So Frustrating!!!

If you have already performed all the steps provided in the link above, then the black ink needs to be replaced

 

You can contact HP Support in your region for replacement cartridges

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

I waited 3 days for that lame response?!?!?  Obviously, I need a new black ink cartridge!
