Hi @Renee505

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP DeskJet 3752 is experiencing a jam with the ink cartridge carriage.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Turn Off and Unplug the Printer:

  • Power off the printer and unplug it from the power source to avoid any electrical hazards.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Open the printer's access door and inspect the area around the ink cartridge carriage.
  • Look for any debris, paper fragments, or foreign objects that might be blocking the carriage's movement.

Manually Move the Carriage:

  • Gently try to move the ink cartridge carriage to the center of the printer. Avoid using excessive force.
  • If the carriage is stuck, check for any obstructions or misaligned parts.

Inspect the Carriage Path:

  • Ensure the carriage path is clear and the plastic bar or mechanism near the carriage is in its correct position.

Reset the Printer:

  • After clearing any obstructions, plug the printer back in and turn it on. The carriage should move to its default position during the startup process.

Run HP Diagnostics:

  • Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and fix any issues related to the ink system.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
