blue screen error with power symbol 04304661

hp officejet 9010 all in one series

hp officejet 9010 all in one series- while adding the printer to the work computer was prompted to do a firmware update.. The update failed and now there is a blue screen of death as far as I am concerned. Error message 04304661 with a power symbol. I have already powered it off, waited 60 seconds before reconnect. Any Ideas? The printer is less than two weeks old.

I see that the printer is in an error state, follow the steps below-

 

Remove the ink cartridges and reset the printer.

  1. Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.

  2. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  3. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  4. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  5. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

    NOTE: 

    HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

  6. Turn the printer on.

  7. Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.

  8. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration or alignment page, do so.

If the error message persists, continue to the next step.

 

Service the printer

Service or replace your HP product if the issue persists after completing all the preceding steps.

Go to Contact HP Customer Support to schedule a product repair or replacement. If you are in Asia Pacific, you will be directed to a local service center in your area.

To confirm your warranty status, go to HP Product Warranty Check. Repair fees might apply for out-of-warranty products.
