Hi @wmarko,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your 9010e series printer is no longer printing, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:
1. Check Connections
- Power Connection: Ensure the printer is turned on and properly connected to a power source.
- Cable Connections: If you're using a wired connection, check that the USB or Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.
- Wireless Connection: If you're using a wireless connection, make sure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
2. Restart Devices
- Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Restart Computer: Restart your computer to reset any potential software issues.
3. Check for Error Messages
- Look for any error messages on the printer's display panel and follow the instructions to resolve them.
4. Printer Queue and Settings
- Clear Print Queue: Sometimes, stuck print jobs can block new ones. Clear the print queue from your computer.
- On Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, select your printer, and click on Open queue. Right-click on the print job and select Cancel.
- On Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click on Open Print Queue. Select the print job and click the X to delete it.
- Set as Default Printer: Ensure your 9010e series printer is set as the default printer.
- On Windows: Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, select your printer, and click Set as default.
- On Mac: System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, right-click on your printer and select Set as default printer.
5. Update Drivers and Firmware
- Update Drivers: Ensure you have the latest printer drivers installed.
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for the 9010e series.
- Update Firmware: Check for any firmware updates for your printer on the HP Support website.
6. Check Ink or Toner Levels
- Ensure that your printer has sufficient ink or toner and that the cartridges are properly installed.
7. Run Printer Troubleshooter
- Windows: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters, then select Printer and run the troubleshooter.
- Mac: Use the Print & Scan utility to diagnose and resolve issues.
8. Check Printer Status
- Make sure the printer is not in an error state (e.g., offline, paused). You can check this status in the printer settings on your computer.
9. Reinstall Printer
- Remove Printer:
- On Windows: Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, select your printer, and click Remove device.
- On Mac: System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click the - button to remove it.
- Reinstall Printer:
- Reinstall the printer by adding it back through the printer setup process on your computer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
