Hi @january9 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your printer is having trouble connecting to your Wi-Fi network after you changed your password. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you resolve this issue:

1. Update Wi-Fi Settings on Your Printer

You’ll need to reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network with the new password.

Using the Printer's Control Panel:

  1. Turn on the Printer: Make sure your HP DeskJet 3755 is powered on.
  2. Access the Wireless Settings:
    • On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button (usually indicated by an icon that looks like a radio wave) to enter the wireless setup mode.
    • If your printer has a touchscreen, navigate to Settings > Wireless Settings or Network Setup.
  3. Select Your Network:
    • Choose Wireless Setup Wizard (or a similar option).
    • The printer will search for available networks. Select your network from the list.
  4. Enter the New Password:
    • When prompted, enter the new Wi-Fi password for your network.
    • Confirm the password and allow the printer to connect.

2. Use the HP Smart App (if applicable)

If you have the HP Smart app installed on your computer or mobile device, you can use it to reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network.

  1. Open HP Smart: Launch the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Add Your Printer:
    • Click on Add Printer or Set Up a New Printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to your network using the new password.

3. Reset Network Settings (if needed)

If you’re still having trouble, you might need to reset the network settings on your printer and set it up again.

  1. Reset Network Settings:
    • On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Network Setup > Restore Network Defaults (or a similar option).
    • Confirm the reset and wait for the printer to restart.
  2. Reconfigure Wireless Setup: After resetting, repeat the steps to connect your printer to the Wi-Fi network using the new password.

4. Check Router Settings

Ensure that your router is broadcasting on the correct frequency (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) and that the network settings are correct. Some older printers may only support 2.4 GHz networks.

5. Restart Devices

Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues:

  • Restart your printer.
  • Restart your router.
  • Restart your computer or mobile device.

I hope this helps.
