Hi @AhmadAkkad90,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering difficulties setting up your HP DeskJet 2720 printer with Wi-Fi using the HP Smart app. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting your printer, smartphone, and computer can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off all devices, wait for a few minutes, and then turn them back on.

Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually check for firmware updates from the printer's control panel menu or by visiting the HP support website and searching for your printer model.

Check Wi-Fi Connection: Make sure your Wi-Fi network is working correctly and that the printer is within range of the Wi-Fi signal. You may want to try connecting other devices to the same Wi-Fi network to verify its stability.

Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup): If your router supports WPS, you can try connecting your printer to the network using the WPS method. This typically involves pressing the WPS button on your router and then initiating the WPS setup process on your printer.

Check Firewall Settings: Ensure that your firewall settings are not blocking communication between your devices and the printer. Temporarily disable any firewall software on your computer and try setting up the printer again.

Forget Wi-Fi Network: On your printer, navigate to the Wi-Fi settings menu and forget/delete the Wi-Fi network that you're trying to connect to. Then, attempt to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network using the HP Smart app.

Use HP Smart for Desktop: If you're encountering issues with the HP Smart app on your smartphone, try setting up the printer using the HP Smart software on your computer. You can download the HP Smart software from the HP website and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
