It sounds like your HP LaserJet M110we is still recognizing the Instant Ink subscription restrictions, even after switching to a new toner cartridge. Here’s how to resolve this:
Check for Instant Ink Restrictions
- If you were using Instant Ink cartridges, they stop working after cancellation.
- Ensure you’ve installed a regular HP toner cartridge, not an Instant Ink one.
Use Genuine HP Toner
- HP printers require genuine HP toner cartridges for optimal performance.
- Third-party or refilled cartridges may cause errors or fail to print.
- If unsure, check HP’s official toner compatibility here.
Restart the Printer & Computer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
- Restart your computer and reconnect the printer.
Reset the Printer
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore Defaults.
- This clears any lingering Instant Ink settings.
Update the Firmware on an HP Printer
- HP regularly releases new firmware versions for printer enhancements, app updates, or issue fixes.
