Can someone please tell me how to adjust the size of my printed photos?  Whether I print through the HP Smart app or Photos, Photos Legacy or Gallery, my photos come out too small and I cannot figure out how to adjust the size for printing.

HP Smart and Photos are similar in several ways, including the proffered editing options and print size settings.

There is also something to be said for whether the original photo file is dense enough (pixel count) to warrant printing the file at anything except its original (small) size.  This does not prevent the image from being printed as you like, though a low-density photo file will certainly suffer is printed too large.

Finally, the printer model (not provided) can impact how printing behaves when a job is submitted to the printer.  Most of the time the job configuration is in control of the software or application that is used to open, view, configure, and submit the job to the printer -- That said, should the printer be stuck in some weird fugue state, it might not follow the instructions it receives.  The general fix for this type of issue might be to "Reset" the printer -- Unplug while ON > Wait 60 seconds or longer - Plug power cord into a standard wall outlet > Wait (or press start button) for printer to completely restart.  Of course, that's a guess at this point and not a diagnosis on a mystery printer.
