HP DeskJet Plus 4155 All-in-One Printer

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue with your HP DeskJet Plus 4155:

 

Check Cartridge Installation:

  • Power off your printer and remove the black cartridge.
  • Inspect the cartridge for any protective tape or packaging that might not have been removed.
  • Reinsert the cartridge firmly to ensure it’s seated properly.

Clean Cartridge Contacts:

  • Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water or isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the electrical contacts on both the cartridge and inside the printer.
  • Allow everything to dry completely before reinstalling.

Run a Printhead Cleaning:

  • Use your printer’s built-in maintenance utility to perform a printhead cleaning. This can help if the nozzles are clogged, which might be causing the blank prints.

Test with a Replacement Cartridge:

  • If available, try a different black cartridge. Sometimes a cartridge may be defective even if it’s new, leading to the error indication and blank pages.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in. This can help clear temporary errors.
