Hello everyone. A few months ago, I bought a LaserJet MFP M42625dn printer, which according to HP GREECE (https://www.hp.com/gr-el/products/printers/product-details/31072344) is supposed to be compatible with the HP335A (W1335A) toner. Unfortunately, the company that sold it to me somehow modified it so that it only accepts the (W1337XH), which only they sell. Unaware of this, I purchased a genuine 335A and a 335X, but when I insert them into the printer, it says "TONER NOT COMPATIBLE." The phone support is nonexistent in my country, and the digital assistant was no help at all. Is there any way to restore the printer to its original state so that it accepts the 335A, or have I gotten myself involved with some sort of cartel and have to accept a disgraceful contract? I feel very disappointed with Hewlett-Packard. I’ve been buying their products all my life and have always been very satisfied, but not anymore.
