Deskjet Ink Advantage 1510 All-in-One Printer series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I already region reset my Deskjet Ink Advantage 1510 All-in-One Printer series bought from middle east and now i use it from Philippines with the compatible ink cartridge 678 that was originally 650 in mid east. it perfectly worked until i have to change the black with the new one. but it keeps saying the (new) black was damaged or have failed. then i tried the single-cartridge mode, and it only worked with the colored ink, the black keeps failing. then i bought new black cartridge and still it didn't work :((

i tried to reset my printer by pressing and holding the power for 5secs. then click cancel button. and the blinking light for black cartridge is gone and proceeded to print but after a minute, it blinks and failed again ;(((

is there anything i still can do to resolve my problem? do i need to region reset my printer every time i install new ink cartridge?? i hope someone could help me. thank you! ♥

@callme_anj, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Let us perform a region reset again and check if that resolves this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
