Recently my 4520 has started to print only red when I want to print black. I get around this by removing the color cartridge. This is not a good solution however. Under the copy screen, I select "Start Black" when doing a copy. That does not resolve the situation.

I would be happy to help you with your Envy 4520. I understand from your description that the printer will not print black when you have both cartridges installed, and instead it prints red. 2. Operating System installed (if applicable)
• Example: Windows XP, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit
3. Error message (if any)
• Example: ""Low disk space"" error in Windows
4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred
• Examples: Upgrading your Operating System or installing a new software; or installing new hardware like a printer, modem, or router.
