Hi @woodiee,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code 0x1000016 on your HP OfficeJet 7612 Wide Format E-All-In-One typically indicates a problem with the printer's firmware or hardware. Here’s what you can try to resolve it.
- Restart the Printer: Power off the printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then power it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can clear temporary errors.
- Update Firmware (if possible): Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve persistent error codes. You can usually find firmware update instructions on HP's support website specific to your printer model.
- Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions: Open the printer's access doors and check for any paper jams or obstructions that may be causing the error.
- Reset the Printer: Perform a power reset by unplugging the power cord from the back of the printer while it is still on, waiting for about 60 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
- Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure that all ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty. Sometimes, improper installation or low ink levels can trigger error messages.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
