Typically 50.1-50.6 errors relate to either failure to heat or getting too hot and 50.7 is a failure where the printer cannot detect the position of the fuser disengagement. However on this model HP does not offer that level of granularity in troubleshooting and simply advises to replace the fuser in any case where the error does not clear on restart. Just ensure that there are no jams what so ever, keeping in mind that fuser wrap (where a page gets rolled around the hot roller) is a common failure on this engine design.
