I have the dreaded 55.0602 error.
followed the basic instructions on restarting ... no joy, still have error
finally found the "reset" config instructions ... managed to do the "factory reset". this indicated that the storage (nvram) was being reinitialized ... no joy, still have error
so now its down to replacing the PCB
out of warranty of course
so where to get the part?
two part numbers for the printer itself: T6B82A, T6B82R >> check the part number through HP Smart app.
lookup the replacement part on the HP part store
and you will see the part is unobtainium directly from HP.

RM2-9574-000CN is the part number for the duplex controller, but as you have found out, no longer supported by HP as it shows as obsolete. A general google search showed some third party parts suppliers and Ebay vendors that have stock.
I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.
