Getting a 79 service error after updating the firmware (my first mistake 😕 )

Tried this already: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Knowledge-Base/Error-79-on-HP-Color-LaserJet-Pro-M280-M281-Mu...

Did not work.

I managed to turn off IPv6 on the printer.

I have turned off Wireless on the printer.

I am running wired to my switch.

I can eventually get to the setup panel on the printer.

From the panel I am unable to even print a report -> "Network Settings"  This triggers an immediate 79 error.

Looking for any help / ideas.

Thanks.

SOLVED!

I followed this video's steps to factory reset the printer:

https://youtu.be/OleEHPMRGdU

Then went in and disabled IPv6.  Powered off then back on the printer.

Now it works.

79 Service error Turn off then on
Turn the printer power on. If the message persists, disconnect any network or USB cables and power cycle. If the printer returns to Ready, check the firmware version and update if a newer version is available.

Hope This Works,

Peter

Thanks, but as I mentioned this issue was due to a firmware update and also, I have resolved it.  I appreciate the response though.

Cheers,
