error code 0x610000f2 on OfficeJet Pro X576 dw MFP

Good day,  In efforts to fix black ink printing errors I noticed the following message in the display : "There is a problem with the printer or the ink system.  Turn the printer off and on.  Contact HP is the problem continues Error code 0x610000f2".  This message appears in the support menu/print diagnostics/clear paper jams.  It asks me to insert paper in the MPtray (tray 1) and press OK.  When I do this I get the above error message.  Subsequently I cannot do anything else but turn the printer off ( I cannnot return to a menu).  I have not noticed /seen a paper jam anywhere.  

I get no hits when I seaqrch for this error on the internet or in this forum.  Resetting the printer does not fix this.  Does anyone know what this error means and if it is fixable?
