@metommy, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP printer error code 0xc19a0013 typically indicates a printhead failure or an ink system failure. This issue can arise from clogged printheads, low ink levels, or internal hardware problems. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:
Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cable from both the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 2-3 minutes.
- Plug the power cable back in and turn on the printer.
Check Ink Cartridges
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Remove and reinsert the cartridges to ensure they are seated properly.
- If the error persists, replace any low or defective cartridges.
Clean the Printhead (If Removable)
- If your printer has a removable printhead, carefully take it out.
- Gently wipe the printhead contacts with a lint-free cloth and distilled water (avoid using tap water).
- Allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
Reset the Printer
- For some HP printers, press and hold the Power button and the Cancel button together for 10 seconds.
- Release the buttons and restart the printer.
Update Firmware
- Visit the HP Support website to check for any firmware updates for your printer model.
- Install updates via the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel if available.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
