@metommy, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP printer error code 0xc19a0013 typically indicates a printhead failure or an ink system failure. This issue can arise from clogged printheads, low ink levels, or internal hardware problems. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cable from both the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for at least 2-3 minutes.
  • Plug the power cable back in and turn on the printer.

Check Ink Cartridges

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove and reinsert the cartridges to ensure they are seated properly.
  • If the error persists, replace any low or defective cartridges.

Clean the Printhead (If Removable)

  • If your printer has a removable printhead, carefully take it out.
  • Gently wipe the printhead contacts with a lint-free cloth and distilled water (avoid using tap water).
  • Allow it to dry completely before reinserting.

Reset the Printer

  • For some HP printers, press and hold the Power button and the Cancel button together for 10 seconds.
  • Release the buttons and restart the printer.

Update Firmware

  • Visit the HP Support website to check for any firmware updates for your printer model.
  • Install updates via the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel if available.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
