HP Officejet Printer Pro 8600 plus: replaced empty Cyan ink cartridge new original HP cartridge installed error message  "problem with printer or ink system contact HP". any ideas how to fix it? I have tried loading a second new cartridge no help. Tried but can't get anyone from HP to help. Last port of call before sledgehammer comes down on the product and I buy a different make of printer!!!!

I see that the printer is in an error state and I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue.

 

If you have already performed the steps from the document Resolving 'Ink System Failure', 'System Supply Problem' Errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
