@Manjit5, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

The error code 55.0602 on your HP MFP M281fdw typically indicates an internal hardware malfunction. Here are some steps you could take to address the issue:

Restart the Printer: You mentioned that you've already tried turning the printer off and disconnecting the leads. Ensure the printer is completely powered down before reconnecting and turning it back on.

Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up-to-date. You can check and update firmware from HP's official website or through the printer settings if connected to the internet.

Reseat Components:

  • Open the printer and ensure that all internal components and cables are securely connected. Often, components can become loose especially if the printer was moved recently.

Reset the Printer:

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
