Customers receiving the"will damage your computer" message along with others like "unable to access cups/tmp" or "'@%' cannot be opened" need to update their version of the macOS. factory reset for hp 5546

I want to perform a factory reset on my HP Envy 5546 printer

Here is how you restore the factory defaults-

 

Go to Setup menu > Tools > Restore Factory Defaults

 

Restart the printer and done.

Thanks for earlier reply which was

Go to Setup menu > Tools > Restore Factory Defaults 

Restart the printer and done.

Unfortunately I cannot find Setup menu>Tools

I've looked at the printer screen menus and in HP Smart which is installed on my pc

Setup Menu is the wrench icon on the printer. 

 

Check and try again.
