Hi all, My HP OfficeJet Pro 8134e All-in-One-Printer continuously displays a blue screen with error code 05F4DE48. When I reboot it, it says 'firmware update unsuccessful, try again' & then becomes unresponsive & shuts back down to the blue screen with 'said' error code. I cannot do any kind of reset because of it immediately shutting down.
I spoke to a[edited] who wasn't very helpful. He told me the printer is 'shot' but it's only 18 months old.
HELP !!!

@RICKTHEHOD, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Power Cycle
Turn off the printer and unplug it for 1 minute.
Plug it back in and turn it on.
Check if the error goes away.
Update Firmware Manually
Disconnect the printer from Wi-Fi.
Go to HP’s website, find your printer, and download the latest firmware.
Follow the instructions to install it via USB.
Check for Paper Jams
Open the printer, check for paper stuck inside, or misaligned cartridges.
Make sure everything is seated properly.
Check Power Source
Try plugging the printer into a different power outlet (not a surge protector).
Update Software
Ensure your computer's printer drivers are up-to-date.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
