Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an HP Officejet 5740 that is out of warranty.  It just printed out an ATTENTION that states the gateway address cannot be accessed.  My computer has been saying it cannot connect with the printer (wirelessly) for several months and repeated turning the printer off and on has not worked.  Occasionally it has connected and printed.  Should I connect them with an ethernet cable?

Yes, Ethernet is supported. 

Yes, you may connect the printer to your network so you can use it.
