this is a brand new printer and it has wasted so much paper printing nothing.  brand new!!  I've done all the resets, updates and ideas I could find with no results.  I did a live chat online with HP support, that was a not helpful.  all they could do is ask me for more personal information, then it said "connection lost"  support is not good as bad as their product!   very disappointed

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
